Festival Director, Darice Jones and KweliTV Founder DeShuna Spencer teamed up to bring the vision of having Bijou Film Festival hosted on a Black-Owned platform to life. Their mutual commitment to elevating the voices of Black beings globally made the partnership successful.

Kweli means “Truth” in Swahili.

KweliTV’s mission is to curate and create content that is a true reflection of the global black experience versus what we may sometimes see in mainstream media.
